A very interesting read via Hypebeast about Brazil's streetwear and sneaker culture.  This is interesting because you get to see what it is to be a sneakerhead in a country where retail price can be twice as much as it is here in the states due to tax tariffs and shipping costs.

Other interesting point are how visible technology can showcase wealth.  Or how football apparel isn't as hot as you would think.  Take a read and learn a little more about Brazil.

JOGGER PANTS!!

OK...LOOK.  I have a closet of about 5 pairs of jogger pants.  Why?  I'm a tall, skinny guy that likes fitted pants versus baggy pants.  They look better on my body type.  And the added plus...they showcase my kick game!  Sneakerheads worldwide understand this notion of jogger pants and the cool factor they bring.  COMPLEX gives insight as to where exactly they originated from and why they are so popular right now.  Check it out to get on game!

Russell Westbrook Launches Eyewear Collection

The star point guard for the Oklahoma Thunder, Russell Westbrook, has decided to launch his own eyewear line.  We all know Russell to be interested in fashion and quite the fashionista, so this move makes complete sense.  I wonder why other athletes don't break out with dope stuff such as this?  You have the funds!  But not everyone is a creator....I applaud Russell for this move.  If I were in his shoes, I'd do the same.  Click the link below to visit the website.

I'M BACK!

WORLD!!  I hope everyone is doing well beyond measure!  My end has been extremely busy...I've been working on the Q.DESIGNS brand along with other brands I have to show this year.  Extremely exciting!  For those that have received their Q.DESIGNS socks so far, I hope you are enjoying them!  I will be mailing out the remaining orders this month along with autographed renderings.  For the shoes, they are still on schedule for June.  Can't wait until you receive them!  Thanks for the your patience.

In other news, check out the first finished prototype of the Q.DESIGNS Backpack...let me know what you think!  For those who didn't get a pair of socks for the campaign, note that they are available for purchase via the Q.DESIGNS website.  Stay tuned for more news!

Q.Designs NO.2 Premiere

What up world!  So the hype on the Q.Designs NO.2 has been WILD to say the least!  So to make my customers happy I'm willing to release the crowdfunding campaign earlier for this particular style earlier than what was expected if at least 80 people pledge via my website: www.qdesignsfootwear.com before Christmas.  Click the SHOP tab and you'll see the pledge bracket...there is no money due upfront!

Initially, I wanted to launch the entire line around February but due to overhead costs and Chinese New Year pushing production back, that date wouldn't be until Summer 2014 and you wouldn't have the shoes in your hands until Fall 2014 sometime.  With the campaign for the NO.2 possibly launching earlier, you can expect to have this shoe in your hands in Summer 2014.

So this is the public's chance to prove how much they want this shoe!  It's up to you guys! Share this with family and friends that may be interested!  I truly appreciate all of the support and kind words regarding the brand.  I look forward to possibly giving you something to rock on your feet sooner than later!  

*Note that this NO.2 will release as the Base Model.  The shoe that you guys see in the rendering will be the Elite Model, which will come with performance outsole and insole...this will release later in the year for 2014.

The Madbury Club.  These group of guys are one of the most creatively sound team around!  Their swagger, their art direction, even their website is truly unique and original.  They have collaborated with top brands and PUMA being the most recent with the "CHAZEBRALOPE" campaign.

Kanye Backpack

Kanye fans!  Sneaker fans!  WHAT DO YOU THINK!?  I'm currently doing a personal project exploring a backpack designed after the Air Yeezy 2 for Kanye West.  This is only the first concept, I have two more that I will post.  Once I post them all, I will need your opinion to chose the best one!  Stay tuned!

Q. Designs Footwear

HELLO WORLD!  Just so you know...I am currently in the process of going through review of VOGUE's Wowcracy campaign!  If you don't know what Wowcracy is, don't feel bad because it is a new platform.  The platform has hand-selected designers to broadcast their designs, be it footwear, apparel, handbags, etc, to the world via VOGUE's sister company Wowcracy.

Wowcracy is basically using the same idea as Kickstarter or Indiegogo, where the projects are completely crowd-funded.  So if I make the cut for my project, you will be able to help fund some Q. Designs footwear!  Very exciting stuff!

If you are a watch fanatic like I am then you can respect the craft of this watch.  The company behind the design is Knot Design, which is a design firm with a team of designers looking to deliver impactful designs to the world.  So where can you buy this beauty?  You can't!  It's not in production unfortunately.  You can only click the link below to check out more images and their portfolio of dope designs.  Sorry guys.

NSW LeBron X Lifestyle NRG

Simple question...would you cop these?  Nike Sportswear is taking the athletic/casual look to a level lately with the LeBron X.  Leather upper, leather lining, clear rubber/vulcanized sole.  The contrast of the blue sole with the brown of the leather upper is a bit funky, but I still like it.  I loved the Cork Edition of the LeBron X and this edition is another home run I feel.  This is only a sample though.  If they decide to drop these, again...would you cop it?

Apple iWatch

Apple never seizes to amaze me.  What is possible is always changing due to their will to push the limits of technology and engineering.  According to Bloomberg, Apple Inc. has about 100 product designers on this wristwatch that will have some of the capabilities of the iPhone and iPad.

I'm excited to see what we hear next from this outstanding brand.
