Alexander Wang and H&M collection.  When my eyes saw this collection I was literally in awe.  Just because the simplicity of the all-black everything theme and the contemporary designs were executed PERFECTLY.  

I love seeing collections like these because they inspire me.  Personally, these are the type of collection I'd love to design for ABSTRACQ.  Then to have a whistle ring?!  Designing objects and accessories so outside of the box is so inspiring to design-engaged minds like myself because they push the boundaries of what design is.

Russell Westbrook Launches Eyewear Collection

The star point guard for the Oklahoma Thunder, Russell Westbrook, has decided to launch his own eyewear line.  We all know Russell to be interested in fashion and quite the fashionista, so this move makes complete sense.  I wonder why other athletes don't break out with dope stuff such as this?  You have the funds!  But not everyone is a creator....I applaud Russell for this move.  If I were in his shoes, I'd do the same.  Click the link below to visit the website.

I ran across this brand a few days ago via Hypebeast.com.  Grovemade is a company specializing in premium desktop and accessory collections.  I LOVE these types of quality, designer-friendly products.  If you feel the same you should check them out more via their website.  To make things even better, their pricing is reasonable!

The Madbury Club.  These group of guys are one of the most creatively sound team around!  Their swagger, their art direction, even their website is truly unique and original.  They have collaborated with top brands and PUMA being the most recent with the "CHAZEBRALOPE" campaign.

Nike Sportswear SneakerBoot Collection

FRESHY.  SWAGGER.  SWAGGY?  Whatever you use to describe these "sneakerboots" that Nike Sportswear has dropped it better be associated with dope design.  This collection is lovely.  Using Nike's staple silhouettes, they have transformed them into kicks you can rock in the cold winters.  Absolutely genius.  Year round  swagger.  What do you think?

Wiz Khalifa Collection by Converse

Pics of Wiz Khalifa's signature shoe line with Converse looks quite promising.  They are still classic Converse styling with a twist.  A nice twist at that.  Leather wrapping around the counter with the signature canvas on the quarters.  The package actually came with a suitcase that includes all types of Wiz Khalifa promotions within.  The only disappointment is that this won't come to the masses when you go out a purchase your pair.  Sucks, but take a look at what the entire package includes with the link provided.

Reebok Shaqnosis "Barracks"

By far this is Shaq's best colorway for his Shaqnosis in my opinion.  The "Barracks" gets it's camo inspiration from Shaq's father's military heritage.  The release date is set for August 28th for $115.  Check the link below to find out all of the retailers that will have it along with more pictures.

The Collection - Asics Gel Lyte III

Check out the collection!  This is something new where I will take an existing shoe model and explore different colorways by only changing levels and curves in Photoshop.  Stay tuned for the next series!  I'll be using the New Balance 998.  Which is your favorite?

Nike Basketball Superhero ELITE Series 2.0

Yet another sensational marketing campaign for Nike promoting their top 3 athletes.  They are showcasing the LeBron X PS Elite, the Kobe 8 System Elite, and the KD V Elite.  I think all of these are solid additions to the Nike basketball collection.

All three of these include lightweight construction, enhanced fit and dynamic protection.  They also are constructed with Kevlar aramid, which is an advanced material typically used in body armor, providing a locked down, protective fit with its high tensile strength-to-weight ratio.

All in all, this collection is a home run for Nike.  I applaud.  The question is now, which one is the best?!
