Probably the coolest tent you've ever laid eyes on right? A suspended tent? YUP. This would revolutionized those standard American family camping trips. The Stingray was a concept that attempted to get funding via Kickstarter but was unsuccessful. The tent is completely collapsible for easy transportation and can be set on the ground or in the air by mounting to surrounding trees.
The benefits on being suspended in the air are no dealing with insects, rodents, and uncomfortable terrain. It's a shame this project wasn't successful. But who knows, maybe in the future we can see something similar. One question though...how do you actually climb in this thing while suspended??
